All app data is saved locally using an on-device database (Hive) encrypted with a key held in your device's secure storage. Your preferences are stored using the platform's secure storage. None of this data leaves your device.

Because all data stays on your device, it is used solely to provide the app's features — showing your transactions, computing insights and charts, and tracking budgets, goals, streaks and achievements. No data is processed on any server.

Pennora requests a single Android permission: INTERNET. It is used only to render this privacy policy inside the app. The app functions fully without any network connection and makes no other network requests.

We do not sell, rent, trade or share your information with anyone, because we never receive it. Export and backup features write files only to a location you choose — a local file, your device's share sheet, or the app's own storage. Any sharing is initiated and controlled entirely by you.

Pennora integrates no third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking SDKs. There are no third parties that receive your data.

Your data is encrypted at rest on your device. Because nothing is transmitted to us or any third party, the risk of interception is minimal. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device.

Your data remains on your device until you delete it. You can remove individual items, archive them, or use Settings → Clear all data to erase everything. Uninstalling the app also removes all locally stored data.

You have complete control of your data at all times. You can view, edit, export, import, back up, restore and delete it directly within the app, without contacting anyone.
12. International Users
Pennora processes no data on servers, so there is no cross-border transfer of personal information. The app can be used anywhere and behaves identically offline.
